As part of 2012 Animated Exeter Festival this years Thelma Hulbert Gallery exhibition explores Animation and Disability. Showcasing the work of disabled animators, alongside animations highlighting disability, this exhibition focuses on celebrating and promoting disability and disabled people through animation. Ben has been recording a visual and audio diary of his experiences as he travelled the Jurassic Coast. He has collaborated with other artists and by taking counsel from geologists, he has developed a landmark touring show celebrating the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Celebrate our Market Charter with a day full of fun and entertainment. An array of market stalls, charity stalls, food and drink stalls, re-enactment of the Queen's Rangers, Classic Car Rally and a Food and Drink Marquee. Festivities start from 9am.
In the evening, why not pop up to The Millennnium green (in the Glen) and watch Honiton's Town Band perform music new and old. Donations appreiciated. Refreshments available or bring your own picnic. Starts 7pm.

The august Bank Holiday sees The Honiton Hill Rally take place 3 miles from Honiton just outside the village of Stockland.
Featuring classic tractors and traction engines, other vehicles, stalls, food and craft tents, main ring events. Plus the ever popular auction which is held on the Monday.

Allhallows Lace Museum
The Museum is in the centre of Honiton and occupies the
chancel of the 13th Century Chapel of Allhallows, a Grade II
listed building. Over the centuries it was a chapel of ease for
the townspeople, later used as a schoolroom and dining-hall
and then on the expansion of Allhallows School it became the
School Chapel. Along with the other schoolrooms adjoining
the chancel it was purchased 50 years ago by the public
subscription to fund the Museum. Allhallows Museum Society
works to preserve the heritage of the people of Honiton and
its surrounding district by collecting, caring and displaying
articles which illustrate how our ancestors lived.
Thelma Hulbert Gallery
The Thelma Hulbert Gallery can be found in Elmfield
House, Dowell Street, just a short walk from the Tourist
Information Office behind the long stay Lace Walk Car
Park. It is the only public free admission art gallery in
the region. The painter Thelma Hulbert made her home
and studio at Elmfield House during the last ten years of
her life, and it has subsequently become a successful
contemporary art gallery (established 1998.) Thelma's
work is on permanent display here, along with a changing
exhibition programme of work by national, international
and local contemporary artists. Elmfield House is grade II
listed. Refreshments available.
