Joanna Leach Memorial Recital

Following the first Joanna Leach Memorial Recital, given by Andreas Boyde, described as 'a red-letter day for lovers of the piano' in an ecstatic review, the second recital in this series will be at St. Paul's Church, Honiton on Saturday 3rd March at 7.30pm, followed by a reception and licensed buffet in the Mackarness Hall at which it will be possible to meet all the artists.
International Lieder artists Stephen Loges (baritone) and Alexander Schmalcz (piano), will perform songs by Brahms and Schumann's Dichterliebe. The exciting youg violinist Emmanuel Bach, is appearing for the first time in Devon. He and Jenny Stern (piano) will be performing a Beethoven Violin Sonata. Jenny was, for many years, Joanna Leach's duet partner.
All the artists in this series were Joanna Leach's close friends and musical colleagues. They have offered their services and talents in celebration of her life
